Ambrosio Plaza was characterized by his tireless and firm fight for freedom, becoming a national hero for all the times he risked his life in each of the battles he participated in to secure Venezuelan independence. It was these reasons that encouraged the creation of a municipality of Guarenas that currently bears his name to honor his emancipatory struggle.
