American Association of Jurists condemned the theft of a Venezuelan oil tanker by the United States

This Thursday, the American Association of Jurists (AAJ) categorically condemned the recent theft of an oil tanker by United States (US) military forces in the Caribbean Sea, near the Venezuelan coast, an act described by the Bolivarian Government as piracy and theft of the nation's strategic resources.

In a statement, the organization denounced that the Donald Trump administration has not given reasons to justify such aggression, carried out last Wednesday, December 10, in Venezuelan territorial waters, precisely when the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was commemorated.

The AAJ expressed concern about the lack of information from Washington about the people who make up the crew.
