AN appointed and sworn in Larry Devoe as Attorney General of the Republic and Eglée González Lobato as Ombudsman

Yesterday, April 9, the National Assembly (AN) appointed and sworn in Larry Devoe as the new Attorney General of the Republic and Eglée González Lobato, to occupy the position of Ombudsman, during the regular session held at the Federal Legislative Palace, by the president of the Legislative Branch, deputy Jorge Rodríguez.
The appointment was made after reaching a vote of 275 votes by parliamentarians, who supported Davoe's trajectory to assume the ownership of the Public Ministry (MP).
The profile of the new Attorney General stands out for his solid academic background and a vast career in public administration.
Larry Devoe specializes in criminal and criminological sciences, as well as master's degrees in Constitutional Law and Democracy, Human Rights and the Rule of Law in Ibero-America.
With this designation, the Bolivarian Government confirms its unwavering will to sacredly protect the rights of the Venezuelan people.
