The National Assembly (AN) unanimously approved the creation of a commission of deputies to accompany and care for the families of the martyrs of January 3.
The Parliament also approved the draft agreement in homage to the martyrs who fell during the military intervention against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
“Brothers, sisters, companions, companions, people of Venezuela, our deepest and most supportive love to mothers who today suffer the pain of having lost sons and daughters in this absolutely irrational, criminal, inexplicable aggression, and because Venezuela is a country of dialogue, Venezuela is a country of peace,” said Deputy Blanca Eekhout, who presented the draft agreement.
Eekhout called for justice for the act of aggression that caused the death of Venezuelans and the release of President Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores.
“That man who is kidnapped right now, Nicolás Maduro, is a world leader of peace, dialogue, sovereignty and justice in this world. Today it is the cause of all humanity. The dignified peoples of the world carry on their flags the image of Nicolás Maduro and the heroic woman, Cilia Flores, who with courage and love have defended the dignity of the country. To them our tribute, to them our commitment to seeing them here again in their free homeland, he emphasized.
The draft agreement provides for the creation of a memorial for the martyrs at the scene of the events.
