AN approved in the first discussion the Law that creates Order of Merit Professor Aristobulo Istúriz

During the regular session this Tuesday, May 6, the National Assembly (AN) approved in the first discussion the Bill for the Creation of the Order of Merit Award of Merit Professor Aristobulo Iztáriz Almeida.

This project was presented by Deputy Yasneidy Guarnieri, who highlighted the importance of institutionalizing this recognition to value the work of those who dedicate their lives to public service.

He emphasized that the project responds to the need to make visible the achievements of the popular base in building a more inclusive and humane education.

This legislative initiative seeks to highlight the work of citizens and organizations that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the country's social and educational development.

In this sense, the bill is aimed at honoring prominent Popular Power actors and social movements and paying tribute to the legacy of Professor Iztáriz, prioritizing those who promote transformation processes from classrooms and communities.

The legislative proposal establishes the criteria for recognizing those figures who, through their efforts, strengthen the national education system. The order is emerging as a stimulus for leading participation in the most vulnerable sectors of Venezuelan society.
