The National Assembly (AN) established parliamentary friendship groups with countries in South America and the Caribbean, including Brazil, Cuba, Uruguay and Chile for the legislative period 2026-2031.
During the installation ceremony, Deputy Roy Daza explained that all parliamentary friendship groups aim to contribute to the restoration of the rule of law in the world, according to a press release from the AN.
With this deployment, the National Assembly seeks to energize its external agenda and consolidate spaces for legislative dialogue. It is expected that in the coming days the installation of the rest of the groups that will make up the parliamentary friendship network for this constitutional cycle will be completed.
