An old acquaintance returns! Tiburones de La Guaira announced that Gregorio Petit will not continue as his manager

The Tiburones de La Guaira organization of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (FUTVE League) announced that Gregorio Petit will not continue as manager of the coastal team.

Through a statement published on their social networks, they thanked Petit for the work started and wished him every success in professional baseball.

Petit says goodbye with an 11-15 record and becomes the second manager of the season to be fired, after Eduardo Pérez, of Navegantes del Magallanes.

The organization also reported that Marco Davalillo will assume the reins of the Escualo team for the rest of the 2025-2026 season.

Davalillo already had a first stage at the helm of the Tiburones de La Guaira for three consecutive seasons: 2010-11, 2011-12 and 2012-13.
