AN received young parliamentarians from the Council of the Russian Federation

The National Assembly (AN) received this Tuesday a delegation of young parliamentarians from the Council of the Russian Federation.

The second vice-president of the Venezuelan Parliament, deputy América Pérez (PSUV/Nueva Esparta), stressed that the meeting is part of the exchange of experiences and legislative knowledge, to meet the needs of young people in both countries.

The Venezuela-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group was installed on August 31, 2022 in the National Assembly. This group aims to strengthen relations of friendship, cooperation and solidarity between both countries through legislative and parliamentary exchange.

During the World Anti-Fascist Parliamentary Forum held in Caracas on November 4 and 5, 2024, both parliaments reaffirmed their ties and issues of national and international interest were discussed.
