The head of the Great Mission Back to the Homeland, Anahi Arizmendi, said that the Bolivarian Government is making a giant effort to ensure that returnees return safely.

During his participation in the Sin Truco Ni Maña program, he highlighted the solidarity of the Venezuelan people with families that have kidnapped migrants

Venezuela is a country that exports love and peace; our Government is carrying out an entire program of protection and family reunification. It's beautiful to see how children are reunited with their families,” he said.

More than 300 repatriated people, including 96 girls, boys and teenagers, arrived in Venezuela on a flight from Mexico.

Arizmendi asserted that those children and teenagers who arrived in her country, have experienced very hard things, since Darién in Mexico, they were victims of blackmail, kidnapping and extortion.

He emphasized that all migration was used to commodify human beings in the story of humanitarian aid.

“In this new phase, we must emphasize how important it is for the family to be united. It's a blessing that their mothers are having their children back with everything they've been through,” she said.

Arizmendi also said that the number of families who want to return to Venezuela is very large, and the number of requests made at embassies has practically doubled.
