The Cleveland Guardians secured a place in the 2024 postseason in the Central Division of the American League a few days before the end of the campaign, thanks to a degree that they had to work on extrainning until the Venezuelan Andrés Giménez shot the hit that brought the win to the plate.
The second-baseman team signed Los Navegantes de Magallanes in the Venezuelan professional winter ball, with that victory they set a winning record of 88-65, second best in their circuit surpassed only by the New York Yankees.
The Guardians must fight to reach the World Series and win relentlessly until October when the 2024 championship of North American professional baseball will be defined.
