Another massive blackout affected several areas of Buenos Aires in Argentina

On Thursday afternoon, a power outage was reported in Buenos Aires, Argentina, affecting several neighborhoods such as Palermo, Recoleta, Belgrano and Villa Urquiza.

It also reached the Buenos Aires towns of Vicente López, Munro, Florida, Martínez, San Martín, Tigre, Haedo, Ciudadela, Caseros, Ramos Mejía and Santos Lugares.

Information published by local media indicated that around 123,000 users were affected by the blackout.

For its part, the Subway system reported delays and interruptions on lines D and H, normalizing service minutes later.

The blackout coincided with a peak in energy demand after temperatures will exceed 35°C.

Two weeks ago, there was also a massive outage.
