ANSA guarantees supply and price stability in the midst of the national contingency

The president of the National Association of Supermarkets and Self-Services, (ANSA) Ítalo Atencio, reported that the sector maintains a regular supply of food in the affected areas and, in addition, assured that distribution continues to operate throughout the country.
Atencio pointed out that since June 26, one hundred and seventy collection centers have been operating and, in this context, the shipment of thirty-two trucks with products to the four supermarkets that remain active in La Guaira stood out, Radio Miraflores reported.
The union representative indicated that the establishments work between eight in the morning and seven in the evening and, during a radio interview, stated that prices remain stable and could register downward adjustments in items such as chicken and eggs.
He also announced that this week they will present the document “Special Considerations for the Venezuelan Supply in Difficult Times” and, as he explained, it will include proposals on leases and credit conditions for inventory replacement.
