Anzoátegui: 63 FUNDAPROAL food houses received equipment

A total of 63 food houses from the Strategic Food Program Foundation (FUNDAPROAL), operating in the state of Anzoátegui, received equipment to strengthen the regional food system.

The equipment included 63 industrial kitchens and an equal number of high-capacity freezers, “immediately achieving 100% of the coverage of the goal set for the first phase of care in the entity,” reported the newspaper Úlcias (UN).

In this regard, Governor Luis José Marcano highlighted that the joint effort is completed with the provision of 105 fully equipped centers strategically distributed between the north, center, south and west of the state, giving continuity to a previous phase successfully executed last April.

“Today is in addition to the Christian effort that every mother cook makes every day to care for those who need it most from every vulnerable sector. As domestic production recovers, as well as incomes, more people will have their needs covered and fewer people will need the assistance of a food house. We all want that to be the case. That will take a while, but while that is being achieved, our feeding houses are going to be there. The objective is very clear: to overcome poverty, hunger and nutritional vulnerability,” he emphasized.
