Anzoátegui Vital Surgical Plan benefited more than 20 patients from the Mac Gregor municipality

This Saturday, May 31, the Anzoátegui Vital Surgical Plan was carried out for the first time at the San Basilio Magno hospital in El Chaparro, Mac Gregor municipality, benefiting 25 patients with low and medium complexity surgeries.
The conference was led by the Single Health Authority in the entity, Dr. Roberto Rojas, who highlighted the importance of this type of initiative to improve the quality of life of those who require surgical interventions.
“With this activity, we are making progress in reducing surgical debt in the state of Anzoátegui, while improving the quality of life of patients waiting for these interventions,” Rojas said.
During the medical day, procedures were performed to resolve cases of lipomas, inguinal, umbilical, unilateral and bilateral hernias, as well as sterilizations and wart removal.
The mayor of the Mac Gregor municipality, Lisandro Marcano, congratulated the medical care team and stressed that these are the first surgeries performed at the San Basilio Magno hospital, inaugurated in August 2024 by the governor of the state, Luis Marcano.
