Apure community celebrates rehabilitation of water pump approved in the first Popular Consultation 2025

With the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Water Care, the rehabilitation project of the La Campereña pumping station (E/B), located in the Simón Rodríguez Commune, Biruaca municipality of Apure state, was completed, which guarantees a better supply and pressure of water resources to 400 families, which was approved in the first National Popular Consultation 2025.
In the account of the social network Intagram, the Government of Apure, points out that the recovery work included the rehabilitation of the existing deep well, the replacement of 40 meters of high-pressure polyvinyl chloride (PVC) pipe, the installation of a new 10-horsepower pumping equipment, the optimization of two filter units and the modernization of the electrical distribution board.
For his part, the community leader, Rafael Solórzano, highlighted the collective effort to achieve this progress.
“This project has been the fruit of perseverance and the desire to do things right. From my humble bicycle, I have worked tirelessly to make this station a reality, because my greatest desire is for my community to enjoy a quality drinking water service,” he said.
It should be noted that the governor of the state of Apure, Wilmer Rodríguez, in coordination with Hidrollanos, will continue to be deployed throughout the country to attend to each project approved through the Popular Consultation, in accordance with the guidelines of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro.
