Apure expects to harvest more than 350 hectares of legumes

The governor of Apure state, Wilmer Rodríguez, reported that more than 350 hectares of legumes are expected to be harvested in the state.
According to information broadcast by
Venezolana de Televisión (VTV), the 2025-2026 legume harvest plan was “launched
from the Comuna La Patria Nueva, located in the Pedro
Camejo municipality, in order to strengthen production in the llanera region”.
Rodríguez,
stressed that more than 350 hectares are expected to be harvested, exceeding 300,000
kilos of beans and caraotas, produced in the state, thanks to the efforts of producers and community members.
He also stated
that despite the current difficulties in Venezuela due to the kidnapping of the
President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the first lady, Cilia Flores, “the
future of Apure is planted in fertile soil.”
