The Government of Apure State, in coordination with the mayor's office of the Rómulo Gallegos municipality and the Councils of Peasants, began the rehabilitation of more than 20 kilometers of agricultural roads in the parish of Trinidad de Orichuna.
According to information published on the Government's Instagram account, work is specifically focused on the Campo Alegre sector, an area affected by the intense floods recently recorded in the region.
In this regard, it became known that the project contemplates the reconstruction of the main embankment and the attention of several critical branches, including Mate Tigre and Los Babos.
The mayor of the jurisdiction, Pedro Guerra, emphasized that these works are a direct response to the emergency experienced in the state. “We are responding to the needs of Popular Power, because the people are the protagonists of the development of our communes. This is a responsible street government that does not abandon its producers after the effects of the rains,” said the municipal authority.
