President-in-Charge received 35 tons of humanitarian aid from Russia

The President in Charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, received 35 tons of humanitarian aid sent by the Russian Federation.
At the “Simon Bolivar” International Airport, in La Guaira, the president in charge, together with the ambassador of the Russian Federation accredited in Caracas, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, received another shipment of humanitarian aid from this Eurasian ally on Tuesday.
This time, the cargo was 35 tons, including household items, high-priority medical and pharmaceutical supplies, channeled through the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Welfare (Rospotrebnadzor) and Geropharm, a leading biotechnology company in the development and production of drugs.
The Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Venezuela, Sergey Mélik-Bagdasárov, expressed his gratitude to President (E) Delcy Rodríguez and the Venezuelan people for the organization and coordination that allowed the arrival of international aid sent after the earthquakes of June 24.
He noted that Russia is honored to be part of the international team that accompanies Venezuela at this time, reaffirming its willingness to continue working together in assistance and recovery efforts.
