The Bolivarian Government of the state of Apure immediately attended to the 120,631 people affected by the rains that occurred in the state, according to information published by the Government on Instagram.

In this regard, Governor Wilmer Rodríguez, specified that “temporary shelters were set up where 2,592 families, equivalent to 9,040 people, were housed, guaranteeing them food, medical care and decent conditions during the emergency.”

In addition, through the Batalla Mata de La Miel Alimentos Foundation, 237 thousand 893 CLAP modules, 163 thousand 339 chickens and 58 thousand 312 mortadellas were delivered, “protecting the food security of the most vulnerable families in the midst of the climate crisis”.

“The rains hit our geography like we've rarely seen before. But Apure didn't give up. In the mud and adversity, we show what we Llaneros are made of. There was no neglected family, there was no abandoned community,” said Rodríguez
