Aragua: 42 educational institutions have been recovered by BRICOMILES in Turmero

A total of 42 educational institutions have been recovered in Turmero, Aragua state, thanks to the joint work between the Mayor's Office of the Santiago Mariño municipality and the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES).

The information was released during the delivery of a new school in the agricultural area of Paya, where Mayor Joana Sánchez specified that 25 schools were rehabilitated in the Pedro Arévalo Aponte parish, nine in Samán de Güere, five in the town of Turmero and three in Alfredo Pacheco Miranda.

“As part of the commitment we made to the Canaima community in the Paya sector, we handed over the UEN Henri Pittier, thanks to the support received from our former minister of education, Yelitze Santaella; now we are moving forward with the construction of another school in the Güerito axis, specifically in La Casona,” said the local president.

He also explained that after the national consultation, the UEN Carlos Soublette, La Casona II and Rosa Amelia Flores institutions were rehabilitated.
