For the third consecutive year, the
José Félix Ribas municipality became the epicenter of cultural tradition with the
inauguration of the 3rd Meeting of Traditional Wristbands and Toymakers “Heroes
and Heroines of the Fatherland”, an event that this year pays tribute to Professor
Moisés Arana, for his valuable contribution to the cultural and tourist development of the town.
The meeting organized by the Venezuelan Love
Doll Movement was accompanied by the governor of Aragua,
Joana Sánchez and the mayor Juan Carlos Sánchez. In addition, 30
representatives from various municipalities that make up the Eastern Axis of the Aragüeña
entity gathered: Revenga, Santos Michelena, Bolívar, Tovar and the host Ribas.
The Secretary of Culture of the state of Aragua
and coordinator of the movement, Alicia La Rosa, stressed that the event is being held
“in honor and gratitude to the cultor friend who understood the value of this idea,
our friend Moisés Arana”.
It should be noted that the artists will be exhibiting their cultural works at the headquarters of the Casa de la Mujer Foundation until November 7.
