The state of Aragua is the Cradle of the Bolivarian Revolution, a political model founded by Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez Frías and that is still “alive and well”, highlighted the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, during the closing ceremony of the campaign on Avenida Bolívar de Maracay.
In this sense, during the massive rally, the head of state also called on the people of Aragüeño not to fall into the false promises of “new fakers, new demagoguery” and, on the contrary, urged them to grant the Revolution a resounding victory so that the Christian prophecy of prosperity and peace in the country may be fulfilled.
“Thanks to our Commander Hugo Chávez and to the immense strength that you have deployed over the years, I can say in Maracay, they could not and will never be able to defeat us. We are the ordinary ones, we are the real ones and we are going to prove it with votes and more votes on July 28. I was with Chávez here and this town never failed him,” he emphasized.
Faced with more than 100,000 inhabitants of the state of Aragua, the candidate for presidential re-election stressed that “I don't come to promise anything, and to you whoever comes to promise something, do the usual signal. The Revolution is not a promise, the Revolution is facts. I don't promise, I promise.”
In the same way, he called on the organization of People's Power, to guarantee the proper functioning of the 1x10x7 to, in this way, ensure a landslide victory that neutralizes the plans of the right to provoke acts of violence in the country.
