This Tuesday, July 23, the country's candidate, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that he does not promise anything to the people of Venezuela, but that he is committed to the well-being of the country's communities.
“I don't promise anything, I commit myself, the Bolivarian Revolution has a word and commitment,” he emphasized from Maracay, in the Grirardot municipality, in the state of Aragua, where he closed his electoral campaign accompanied by a sea of people who reiterated his support for Presidential re-election.
In that sense, he argued that no pataruco or a puppet with a surname can guarantee housing for the humble family in Venezuela.
He specified that it is necessary to build at least three million new homes for the same number of families.
“I don't come to promise you anything, whoever comes here to promise, whoever comes with promises, give them the usual signal, send them to the reeds,” he recommended.
The candidate asserted that his offers are not promises, they are facts. As an example, he mentioned that of the three million decent roofs, 400,000 homes are already being built. “These are facts, not promises,” he stressed.
