The candidate of the Simón Bolívar Patriotic Pole for the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, during the swearing in of the Campaign Command, from the Alfredo “Raton” Pérez sports center, in the city of Maracay, assured that the regional elections are an ideal time for a halt in political polarization to change everything that needs to be changed.
“I ask for a stop to political polarization and to see ourselves as enemies, to stop personal or group ambitions. The embrace of elections constitutes a democratic, real, pure and sincere moment, an act of nobility, this act must allow us to rise to the most sublime moment of a human being, which is understanding, kindness and respect, seeing each other as brothers and overcoming any difference,” said Sánchez.
The aspiring governor for the GPPSB called for addressing crucial issues for the development of the state of Aragua, including the strengthening of political organization, defense of the achievements of the Bolivarian Revolution, with the leading participation of the people in the selection and execution of community projects; while reaffirming the commitment to social programs and public policies of the Bolivarian Government, for the construction of a prosperous future for Aragua .
The meeting was attended by leaders and grassroots activists of the PSUV, as well as representatives of other political organizations that make up the GPPSB.
Sánchez is a prominent figure in the social sphere of the Santiago Mariño municipality, where she has dedicated effort and commitment to her community, which has led her to serve as mayor for two consecutive terms (2017 - 2021 and 2021 - 2025).
