Aragua: MINAGUAS repaired a fault in the 12-inch pipe in Samán de Güere parish

The Ministry of Popular Water Power (MINAGUAS) carried out the repair of a fault in the 12-inch diameter adduction pipe in the Samán de Güere parish, Santiago Mariño municipality of the state of Aragua, with the objective of optimizing the supply of drinking water for 4,500 families in the area.

The technical approach, carried out on the service street of the Arturo Michelena sector, adjacent to the Maracay-Turmero Intercommunal Avenue, involved excavating and conditioning the land to access the exact point of the fault, the extraction of the damaged duct and the replacement of six meters of high-density polyethylene pipe, coupled by two mechanical joints, according to the Ministry of Water Press.

This parent pipe plays a fundamental role in the local water scheme, articulating the distribution of the Center II Regional System with four underground sources.

Thanks to this work, the inhabitants of the Sorocaima, Esteban Liendo, Arturo Michelena, César Rodríguez Palencia, Cacique Terepaima, El Legado and Araguaney sectors can receive the supply.

In this way, MINAGUAS reaffirms its commitment to the preventive and corrective maintenance of the national water infrastructure, guaranteeing the efficiency of the service and the progressive improvement of the quality of life of Aragüean communities.
