Aragua Voleibol Club fell to Sport Caracas Voley at the start of the Professional Volleyball League

The Aragua Volleyball Club staged an intense match against Sport Caracas Voley in the second match of the series played at the Mauricio Johnson indoor gym in Maracay, in a match where the Aragüeño team showed a competitive character and forced their rival to work hard to win the start of the Professional Volleyball League (LVP).
The team led by Álvaro Sánchez jumped to the table with its initial sextet consisting of captain Leydi Colina, Ana Muñoz, Nicol Sáez, Luciana Hernández, Camila Chacín, Yllen Gutiérrez and Dora Barrios, betting on a solid game from the start of the commitment.
Aragua started with great intensity and managed to set the pace of the match from the first set, where he showed offensive effectiveness and good collective work to win 25-18, taking an early advantage on the scoreboard. The visitor reacted in the second set, adjusting their game system and taking advantage of some key moments to keep the 25-21 partial, equalizing the match to one set per side. The third set maintained the tone of a hotly contested duel. Both teams had long exchanges and fought every point, but finally Sport Caracas Voley managed to tip the set in their favor 25-19, placing themselves at the top of the scoreboard. In the fourth set, the Aragua Voleibol Club returned to competing face to face, keeping the score closed for much of the set and forcing its rival to do their best to ensure the victory. Finally, the capital's team managed to close the set 25-21, leaving the final result 3 sets by 1, according to the local press.
Despite the result, the Aragüeño team left good feelings at home, showing dedication, intensity and responsiveness to a rival who had to fight throughout the match to win.
The Aragüeño team will return to action the next day when they face Universitarias de Miranda on March 21 and 22 at the Francisco Mujica Toro Sports Center, located in Guatire, Miranda state.
