The government of Aragua, hand in hand with State institutions, is making progress in maintenance and risk mitigation operations throughout the region through the Pre-Rain Plan 2026.
Rodolfo Ramírez, spokesman for the Second Transformation, Human Cities and Public Services, explained that the priority is to protect Aragüeña families in the face of the early arrival of the rainfall cycle. Staff from Vías de Aragua, Costas de Aragua, Funda Aragua, and from the Ministries of Water Care and Public Works were present.
On the road to the municipality of Ocumare de Costa de Oro, the authorities coordinated specific actions to intervene the Cumboto river and the La Trilla dam, tasks that are in addition to those already carried out in the Aragua River and the floodgates of the Cari Cari dam, vital points for water control in the center of the country. The strategy encompasses comprehensive sanitation.
