This Thursday, the network Sons for Identity and Justice against Oblivion and Silence (HIJOS), a human rights organization comprised of daughters and sons of people who disappeared during the last Argentine military dictatorship, reported an attack for political purposes against one of its members.

In a statement published by the social network X, HIJOS explained that one of its militants, whose identity they preserve, was attacked by two individuals waiting for her inside her home, after breaking through the door and entering illegally.

She was tied up, beaten, sexually abused, and received death threats. The attackers threatened her with firearms,” the organization said.

Likewise, it became known that the message was clearly transmitted to the victim: “We didn't come to steal from you, we came to kill you. We get paid for this,” the statement said.
