The Government of Javier Milei in Argentina announced that the nation will leave the World Health Organization (WHO), the decision will be made through a decree signed expressly by the president.

According to statements to the press, presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni indicated that the president instructed Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein to withdraw the country's participation in that humanitarian organization, and they justified the announcement in an alleged intervention by the WHO in its sovereignty.

Adorni has pointed out that they did not agree with the health management that involved, he said, the largest confinement in human history, and the lack of independence from state politics.
