Argentina: Rejection on the rise! Milei's negative image reached 55%

This Wednesday, a survey released by local media revealed that the negative image of the president of Argentina, the extreme right wing Javier Milei, exceeded 55 percent, six months after taking office.

The survey carried out by the consultancy firm Zuban Córdoba among 1,400 citizens, and whose data were released by the newspaper Página 12, showed that the Government has 54.4 percent disapproval, while Milei has a negative image of 55.8 percent.

The Minister of Human Capital, Sandra Pettovello, has a negative image of 59.7 percent, after the scandal of food withheld by the Government, which was legally obliged to hand it over to soup kitchens.

Between last Friday and Saturday, it was revealed in the week that Milei celebrates six months since taking office in the country's Executive Power.

According to official information, in the first quarter of the year there was an 11 percent increase in the poverty rate and indigence jumped from 9.6 to 17.5 percent.

The World Bank (WB), in its global outlook report, revealed that Latin America's Gross Domestic Product will grow from 2.2 percent to 1.8 percent.
