In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship, reported that Foreign Minister Diana Mondino will go on a tour that will take her to the People's Republic of China, despite President Javier Milei's initial refusal not to make transactions with communist countries, in reference to the Asian nation.
In the agenda published by the foreign agency, as a first stop, on April 28, 29 and 30, the chancellor will visit the People's Republic of China. There it will deploy an extensive program of official meetings.
In context, Milei emphasized in repeated interviews his rejection of China as a commercial ally. “It is false that it would be a macroeconomic tragedy. We could make a deal with the civilized side of life. I don't do transactions with communists,” he said at the time.
