This Wednesday, members of the State Workers Association (ATE) of Argentina will hold demonstrations in Buenos Aires to denounce the dismissal of more than two thousand people in the Ministry of Human Capital.
The union expressed in a statement its rejection of the dismantling of areas such as the Secretariat for Children, Adolescents and the Family by the neoliberal and ultra-right government of Javier Milei.
In the document released by ATE, he highlighted that the union criticized a strong wage cut in several entities such as the Faculty of the Army.
In addition to the mobilizations, a federal plenary session was convened to define a plan of action and vote on a new general measure of force.
According to detailed information from Telesur, the general secretary of the said organization, Rodolfo Aguiar, said: “With this new round of mass layoffs and availability, the government is trying to put an end to core social policies and destroy one of the central pillars for the containment and assistance of the most vulnerable social groups of our people.”
