Venezuelan fencer Arianna Prieto won bronze in the women's sabre category at the Pan-American Fencing Championship, which is taking place in Paraguay.

With this third place, Prieto secured his presence in the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games.

In the table of 32 Prieto defeated Guatemalan Florencia Cabezas 15-13, and in the 16th he dominated Brazil's Camila Vieira 15-9.

Later, in the round of 16, she defeated Chile's Constanza Manso, to sign her pass to the finals, where she fell to the American Katherine Andrés.

This is the third bronze medal for Venezuela in that championship, after those won by Victoria Guerrero and Natalia Machado.
