Asphalt plan intervened 25 kilometers from the Barquisimeto-Cabudare Intercommunal

The governor of the state of Lara, Luis Reyes Reyes, announced the deployment of asphalting work in the Barquisimeto-Cabudare Intercommunal, through the National Asphalting Plan.
According to information from the newspaper Último Noticias (UN), this action covers 25 kilometers from the Santa Rosa sector to Chupa La Flor, where 5,000 tons of asphalt were placed in layers and patched.
“We need to have this road in perfect condition to guarantee drivers' safety and at the same time prepare for the upcoming Vinotinto sporting events and the connection to the Lara-Portuguesa highway,” he said.
“In the same way, in the state, a road recovery plan is being carried out that includes the installation of 60,000 tons of asphalt in the Lara-Zulia and Lara-Trujillo sections , respectively, through a strategic agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Invilara; in parallel, hydraulic and rehabilitation works are being carried out on four main bridges, highlighting an 80% advance in the structure of El Torondoy”, reported the UN.
