This Wednesday, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) called for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip by Israel.

“We condemn attacks on all civilians and civilian infrastructure, which lead to a further deterioration of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, including restricted access to food, water and other basic needs,” the statement said.

In this regard, ASEAN requested that humanitarian aid must reach the Gaza Strip without any obstacles and quickly.

“To all parties to the conflict who protect civilians and respect international humanitarian law and international human rights law ,” as well as the “ immediate and unconditional release of all hostages, especially women, children, the sick and the elderly,” he said.
