Authorities supervised operational processes at an aluminum plant in Carabobo

A technical inspection was carried out at the facilities of the Aluminum plant in Carabobo, S.A. (Alucasa) to monitor operational processes and evaluate production capacity. This field review sought to promote the objectives of the Venezuela Renace Plan and was led by the Minister of Ecological Mining Development and Basic Industries and president of the Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG), Héctor Silva.

During the deployment through the production and rolling lines, the head of the industrial sector was accompanied by the president of Alucasa, Rafael Hernández, and the president of the National Steel Complex (CSN), Cnel. Danny Parada. The authorities toured the strategic areas of the plant to evaluate the operation of the machinery and the performance of the working class at each manufacturing stage.

On the other hand, the conference allowed us to deepen the design and application of industrial chain strategies between the aluminum and steel sectors. This inter-institutional cooperation scheme aimed to optimize the performance of State companies, ensuring complementarity in the supply of inputs and the efficient use of resources.

In this way, oversight encompassed the review of preventive maintenance plans, the modernization of operating systems and import replacement projects. The tour concluded with the ratification of commitments to optimize the diversified economic model and strengthen sovereign socio-economic development.
