BAER reactivates commercial flights at São Tomé airport

This Friday, November 29, commercial operations were reactivated at Don Edmundo Barrios airport, located in the town of San Tomé, Freites municipality in the state of Anzoátegui.
Commercial flights began at the terminal after four years with the traditional naming of the aircraft, when it landed with passengers from the city of Barcelona, capital of the state. The charter service is a new connectivity with air transport from the southern part of the state, which offers strategic tourist destinations.This airport serves the cities of El Tigre and San José de Guanipa, due to its proximity to San Tomé. It was reopened in 2005 with improvements to its infrastructure as well as the beacon for night flights, it has a runway of 1,920 meters.
