Banco del Tesoro grants housing loans to families affected by a seismic event in La Guaira

The Bolivarian Government, through the Ministry of the People's Power of Economy and Finance and Public Banking, granted housing loans to Venezuelan families affected by the double earthquake recorded in the state of La Guaira on June 24. The allocation was implemented through the Venezuela Renace Plan, a program aimed at guaranteeing the well-being and dignity of households hit by the contingency.

Promoted by the President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, the social initiative includes a direct subsidy so that those affected by the loss of their main properties can purchase a new home. In this regard, the president of the Treasury Bank and Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Banking, Insurance and Securities, Jimmy Berríos Ojeda, congratulated the beneficiaries and highlighted the effectiveness of the financial deployment.

Among the beneficiaries, the citizen Fresme Bonilla stands out, a resident of the Tanaguarenas sector who lost his apartment after the earthquakes and obtained the pre-approval and purchase of a new property. In addition, the seller of the property, Georgio Machis, valued the speed, security and trust provided by the bank throughout the processing and sale process.

The Treasury Bank confirmed that it will maintain continuous attention to requests processed through the Venezuela Renace Plan. With this credit line, the institution seeks to respond to the housing needs of the town, allowing the restoration of family assets and accompanying the reconstruction of impacted areas.
