Banco Digital de los Trabajadores provided financing to affected merchants in La Guaira after earthquakes

The Workers' Digital Bank (BDT) made a contribution to contribute to the economic recovery of the state of La Guaira by providing financing and economic support for families and businesses that were affected in the region.

The day is the direct result of the technical and commercial approach carried out in the most impacted areas of Catia La Mar, where diagnoses were carried out on El Ejercito, La Marina, Tacagua and La Atlántida avenues, as well as in the La Páez Urbanization.

‎La allocation of these immediate credits, together with the reactivation and installation of Points of Sale (BDT POS), will allow the return of liquidity and operating equipment to merchants to ensure the continuity and revival of their regular activities. In addition, the financial institution supported the process through a special banking facility at the National Experimental Maritime University of the Caribbean.

‎Este deployment made it possible to formally incorporate those affected into the financial system, to speed up the opening of accounts, the replacement of payment instruments and immediate access to digital products linked to these financings
