Barinas shone at the close of indoor volleyball at the 2025 Municipal National Sports Games

Barinas swept at the close of indoor volleyball at the III Municipal National Sports Games 2025, winning gold medals in both the women's and men's categories, at the Base de Misiones vertical gymnasium in Valera.

The men's team from Barinas, with an outstanding performance, was crowned champion by defeating Lara 2-1 (25-15, 21-25 and 15-10).

In the bronze medal match, Carabobo won the metal after defeating Miranda's sextet 2-0 (25-22 and 25-08), according to the Ministry of Sports press.

For her part, the women's final was also dominated by Barinas, who won gold after comfortably beating Miranda 2-0 (25-20, 25-17), while Carabobo took third place by beating Lara 2-0 (25-15 and 25-23).

With this pair of victories, Barinas won 9 gold medals in the Community Games, also excelling in wrestling, weights, artistic gymnastics and chess.
