Basketball player Glen Rice Jr. returns to Brillantes del Zulia

Zulia's Brillantes team announced the return of forward Glen Rice Jr., for what will be their third season in the Professional Basketball Super League (SPB).

In the previous two seasons, he averaged 16.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 27.01 minutes over 30 games, Líder reported.

The former NBA player for three seasons with the Washington Wizards (2013-2015), has enjoyed a long career in international basketball that has taken him to countries such as Israel, Lithuania, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Argentina, Puerto Rico, among others.

Rice comes from playing the Basketball Champions League Americas with Real Estelí from Nicaragua, where he averaged 14.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game. One of his best performances in that tournament was against Boca Juniors from Argentina, where he scored 21 points, captured nine rebounds and distributed two assists.
