BCV adds two new banknotes to the currency cone

The Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) announced this Friday the addition of two new banknotes to the current national monetary cone, with denominations of Bs.200 and Bs.500.

Through its web portal, the BCV explained that the pieces will begin to circulate gradually to complete the current monetary cone, and they also meet “the requirements of the national economy”.

The copies of the Venezuelan coin have on their obverse the image of the Liberator Simon Bolivar Trilogy and on the reverse the figure commemorating the Naval Battle of Lake Maracaibo.
