The Workers' Digital Bank (BDT) provided 31 loans to merchants and entrepreneurs in the tourism and commercial sector of the state of La Guaira.

Through the granting of these loans, the BDT supports the recovery of this boulevard, to preserve its colonial facades, which are part of the Architectural Heritage of the Nation.

The governor of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, said that “thanks to the fact that Guaireños are excellent payers, this will only be one of many supports that our town of Macuto will receive, and all thanks to public banks as close as the Workers' Digital Bank.”

Celsa Malavé, one of the other beneficiaries, thanked the financial institution for closely supporting the population of Macuto: “This credit is important to us, because we are going to be able to grow in this sector, making it a much more beautiful tourist destination than it already is.”

With this support for the country's productive sectors, public banks continue to leverage the nation's economic growth and reaffirm their commitment to the democratization of Venezuelans' access to banking services and products.
