The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, rejected recent actions by the United States in the Caribbean linked to Venezuela and stated that any divergence can be resolved through dialogue.
Lukashenko insisted that the only way is to reach a peaceful agreement. He warned that an armed conflict would be useless and recalled that he had already informed the United States envoy, John Cole, that a military intervention against Venezuela could lead to a scenario similar to that of Vietnam.
According to what was published on the RT web portal, the leader expressed his intention to discuss this issue soon with President Donald Trump and assured that he had relevant elements to present during the possible meeting.
