Belgian social movements support President Nicolás Maduro

The head of the Venezuelan Mission to the European
Union (EU), Jorge Valero, thanked the support that Belgian
solidarity movements provided to the president of the Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, after his swearing in on January 10.
According to information from Venezolana de
Televisión, Belgian citizens attended the headquarters of the Mission of the Bolivarian
Nation to the EU and the Embassy to the Kingdom of Belgium and the
Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, which is located in Brussels, to express their
recognition to President Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Revolution.
They also emphasized that Venezuela is
leading the global epic against fascism, imperialism and Zionism. In addition,
they argued that President Maduro is a paradigm of the struggle for social
justice, equality and solidarity in the world.
They also praised the Bolivarian Diplomacy
of Peace promoted by Venezuela and sympathized with President
Maduro's program expressed in the 7 Transformations to Ennoble the Country. At the same time,
they appreciated that the constitutional reform, announced by the Head of State, will be
a step forward towards the expansion of the participatory and
leading democracy that exists in the Homeland of Bolivar.
Among the groups, the International
Anti-Fascist Belgium Chapter, the Latin American Coordinator, the Belgian International
Solidarity Movement, the Association of Refugees of Latin America and
the Caribbean in Belgium, the Landless Movement of Brazil, the Belgium Chapter and the Belgian Anti-NATO
Committee.
