Between July and October! IDENNA has treated 10,000 cases in Monagas

A total of 10,000 cases were registered between the months of July and October of the current year at the National Council of the Law Institute for Children and Adolescents (IDENNA), in the state of Monagas.

In this regard, it was known that the largest volume of care was concentrated on the coordinations of the Program and Adoption, totaling 7,548 services provided.

As for the family and community care programs for protection that are being developed in the towns of El Furrial and Potrerito, more than 4 thousand attentions have been registered in the period evaluated.

María Fernanda Ramírez, director of IDENNA, highlighted that they carried out 32 case control and follow-up visits, ensuring the favorable evolution of the situations treated. While for defense, legal advice and case referrals, the Defense Coordination handled a total of 166 cases; as a relevant fact, 51 of these services were specialized legal counsel, essential for the restoration of the rights of children and adolescents in the Monaguense territory.
