Bicentennial Reading Plan arrived at the Pedro Fontes transitory camp in Caracas

With the purpose of transforming reading into a tool of resistance and integral formation, a training and community day was held at the Transitional Camp of the U. E. N. Pedro Fontes in the parish of La Vega in Caracas.

The meeting brought together girls, boys, young people and adults as part of the National Bicentennial Reading Plan around the enjoyment of the texts received in their kits, in favor of promoting reading habits and cultural exchange in the sector.

During the activity, the participants were also part of a bookbinding workshop that actively involved the entire camp community.

This plan is part of the work of the Sectorial Vice Presidency for Culture and Communication and the Route of Hope in solidarity deployments with families affected by earthquakes.
