BMX Freestyle comes to Lara State

This Saturday, April 25, the second stage of the Rider's Series of Freestyle BMX will take place at Daniel Dhers Park in El Obelisco de Barquisimeto in Lara state.

The event brings together the highest level of extreme cycling in the country and has the support of the International Cycling Union and the Venezuelan Cycling Federation, details a press release from the Ministry of Popular Power for Sport.

This stop in Lara state follows the opening round held in Caracas, where Brazilian Davi Gibim and Katherine Díaz from the Capital District dominated the podium in the Elite category.

Now, together with medalists such as Edy Alviarez and Ariannys Durán, these athletes will seek to revalidate their leadership in the country.

The day will begin on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. with the beginner and elite divisions in the women's division. In addition, in the men's category, the competition will include the following categories: under10, beginner, amateur and elite.

Admission will be free for all the public who wishes to attend the sports complex. The highlight of the day is scheduled for 4:30 p.m., when the professional show will begin, where elite athletes will show their best tricks to the public.

The Rider's Series seeks to consolidate emerging talent and empower BMX in Lara state.
