The coach of Vinotinto, Fernando “Bocha” Batista, will have to reinvent himself and look for options to strengthen the Venezuelan defense, in the face of the loss of several of his players, to face the teams of Ecuador and Peru, for dates 13 and 14 of the South American qualifiers.

Through a statement published on its social networks, Vinotinto announced that Rubén Ramírez was disaffected from the call after suffering a tear in his right muscle.

Ramírez arrived at the rally with discomfort in his right anterior rectum, caused in the match played on March 16 with his Club Bolívar. The day after his arrival, the national team's medical team evaluated the situation and decided to perform a nuclear magnetic resonance. The results confirmed a tear in the right thigh,” the statement said.

Hours earlier, he had also announced the departure of Miguel Navarro, who suffered a tear in his last match with his club Talleres de Córdoba, so he was removed from the squad to begin his recovery.

Bocha Batista will have to rearm his line of defense in the absence of fundamental players: Ramírez and Navarro join Yordan Osorio and Jhon Chancellor who cannot be called up due to injury, while Jon Aramburu and Alexander González will not be able to play due to accumulating warnings

The main candidate to replace Navarro is René Rivas, who performs naturally and effectively in the left-back position, Christian Makoun and Thomas Gutiérrez are another viable alternative for absences in the central part.
