This
Saturday, December 13, the Bolivarian Government activated the Sixth
Training and Communication Line, at an event held at the Teatro Principal in Caracas, which was accompanied by the head of Government of
Caracas, Nahúm
Fernández; and the Deputy Minister of Communication Management, Simón Arrechider.
During his
speech, Fernández highlighted how the People overcame fear of
social networks and used them to spread the truth of Venezuela, as opposed to the propaganda lies disseminated by
interfering agents.
“One thing
that I think has been overcome and has been firmly
established, is that our people have lost their fear of social networks,
people talking, making videos and telling the truth (...) because we don't
want to invent like them back in the empire, (...) we just want to
tell the truth,” he said.
He also proposed that
the People's Power establish dynamics to continue defending
Venezuela through networks and thus prevent the lies of imperialism and its lackeys from
being imposed.
For his
part, Arrequider stated that in the 299 communal circuits of Caracas they should
be oriented to having a think tank that brings together communication organizations.
He pointed
out that “an element that is fundamental in the midst of these threats is generated, and that is to
break the paradigm that communication is only for
specialized groups”
He also raised the need to establish a think tank in each Self-Government Room. In addition, he recalled that the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, proposed the new manual for communal thought tanks, in which alternative communal media are integrated, as a series of spaces “where we sit down to articulate, to plan”, and which are located in the physical and local territory.
